The wait has ended this morning all the mysteries of Apple’s device launched. The iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X are simultaneously launched to show Apple’s future designs. All real-time information is authentic. iPhone X stole attention due to drastic design changes and HDR OLED screen usage. For those who missed the launch of all three devices, this is a list of 10 interesting things shown on iPhone X and iPhone 8 this morning.
HDR OLED screen
The OLED screen is finally used to iPhone devices although this technology has been used on the N85 in 2008. With the use of OLED display, the screen on the iPhone X is more alive and light than the iPhone 8. It also saves battery usage and is more readable under the light Sun. Lastly, it supports streaming HDR content which is now more widely and recently activated on Android devices months ago.
True Tone screen
The screen on iPhone 8 and 8 Plus still using LCD IPS technology but has been enhanced. True Tone technology that was first used on iPad Pro 9.7 is now used on iPhone. According to Apple’s True Tone screen will change the screen resolution and white balance levels to reduce glare on the eyes.
Quick and Wireless Charging
As we’ve been dumping over, both fast and wireless charging is supported on all three iPhone models this year. The battery on the device can be charged up to 50% in just half an hour. Wireless charging is using the Qi format, which is the current standard. This means that if you have a Qi wireless cord at home, it can be used with the latest iPhone. However, the fast charger is not included with every purchase. It should be bought separately
Portrait Lighting
The mode portrait system introduced last year received a fun run this year with Portrait Lighting. Through a system supported on the iPhone 8 Plus and X, various virtual lighting systems can be applied to objects that they want to capture. Among the lighting modes provided are Natural Light, Contour Light, and Stage Light. Stage Light is most interesting because changing the background is constantly turning black. This allows for more diverse portrait photos taken without the use of professional lights.
4K 60FPS and 1080P 240 FPS recording
If Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a 960FPS 720P slow motion recording function, iPhone is now capable of recording 4K video at 60FPS or 1080F 240FPS settings. This makes iPhone 8 and X the earliest tools support the 4K 60FPS settings on the market. This is all due to the use of the latest Apple A11 Bionic processor which we will discuss below.
Apple A11 Bionic processor
Apple A11 Bionic continues Apple innovation and this is the biggest step they do in processor technology. It’s their first processor with its own designed M11 GPU. Two high-powered cores are matched with four for light duty. This is evolution after a six-core technology is introduced on Apple A10X Fusion. The first difference is that the A10X Fusion is three powerful high-power cores matched with three core light tasks.
The processing power is said to increase by up to 70% compared to A10 Fusion but with energy saving to ensure that the battery lasts longer. Last year the iPhone 7 Plus was the battery endurance champion in Amanz despite its small battery size. We’re excited to see if the iPhone 8 and X can go beyond the durability of the iPhone 7 Plus.
Higher processing power will enable the integration of real apps to be used more smoothly. Tim Cook insists the reality of merging is Apple’s focus on virtual reality. With ARKit and A11 Bionic, they have a platform to be the leader in integrated reality technology on mobile devices.
Dual Camera With Dual-OIS
The iPhone X is the second device after the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is equipped with the dual-camera dual system with dual-OIS. The use of the OIS system on both lenses ensures that the pictures taken are always stable. No tremors are particularly important when using optical zoom systems that typically double the tremors when in use. The picture taken will be sharper and put iPhone once again as a mobile device photography enthusiast device.
Face ID
Facial scan system replaces TouchID completely on iPhone X. This is the first time that it was not included on the iPhone since 5S. Functions that may be underestimated by most users. But the reality is that emoji usage is very popular and is increasingly popular. Every twentieth year the new emoji was introduced and iOS would be the first operating system to support it.
With Animoji, 12 emoji can be customizable with animated face movement. Imagine the fun that can be produced with the resulting animation. We believe this is one of the functions that will soon be “borrowed” from Android devices.
Enhanced Speaker
Last year the iPhone 7 supported stereo audio. Two speakers are used to provide better audio effects than previous models. On the iPhone 8, the power of stereo speakers is increased by 25%.
