If 2012 Nexus 7 model is use as the basis, we would expect that the new Nexus 7 will be launch during the Google I/O 2013.
Here’s my prediction:
Google I/O 2012 is June 27-29, 2012 vs Google I/O 2013 is May 15-17, 2013 (42 days earlier)
July 13, 2012 release in Australia and US vs June 1, 2013 (?)
Sept. 21, 2012 release in Malaysia vs Aug. 9, 2013 (?)
So, if the calculation is correct, it might be as early as the first week of August 2013.
